Veterans are celebrated at Farmers' MarketThere will be a Veterans’ Day Parade during the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market on November 7, 2015. The Market Place is open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the parade will travel west on Ash Street and then east on Centre Street, beginning at 11:00 am.

We encourage you to dress in the colors of Old Glory and peruse our vendor’s booths while enjoying the talents of local musician Jenn Burns.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, Me, Myself & Pies is hosting a Holiday Pop-Up Pie Shop where you can pre-order a variety of sweet and savory pies until November 21st, and then your freshly baked pie will be available for an evening pick-up time in Fernandina just before Thanksgiving Day. For more details, stop by their tent on Saturday.

We are introducing a new vendor this week, Aaron Rawls. Aaron will be bringing woods suitable for cooking or fires to the farmers market. He will have wood for your fire pit, bar-b-que, smoker, fireplace, or oyster roasts; his varieties include oak, hickory, cherry, blackJack and pecan. Bundles are only $5.00 each.

Community Hospice will be joining us this week as our “Booth with a Cause” and the Bloodmobile will be taking donations that are tragically in high demand during the holiday season.
