What do you do with a house-full of company over the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend? You bring them to the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market and the Fernandina Beach Arts Market. Located on North Seventh Street, both markets will be open on November 28th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The farmers market offers a wide variety of foods, plants and natural products, while the Arts Market is home to about 25 talented, local artists.
This time of the year Ina and the Dutchman of Seven Trees Nursery will be bringing Christmas Cactus that are full of blooms in bright red, snow white, and salmon. Cabbage Creek Farms is harvesting fresh radish, Asian turnips, arugula, salad mix, baby kale, and their carrots sell out early every week. Shepperd’s Pepper Farm from Callahan, Florida, has made your holiday shopping simple with affordable gift baskets offering one, two or three jars of your favorite flavors of pepper jellies.
In the Arts Market you will find holiday decorations, fine jewelry, hand crafted furniture, pottery, children’s apparel, tie dyed t-shirts, home furnishings, whimsical jewelry, scarves, golf cart accessories, and much more.
Both markets will be open EVERY Saturday in December!
This week’s entertainment is provided by the fabulous Dan Voll, and the Amelia Island Museum of History will be joining us in the Arts Market to tell you all about their upcoming Holiday Home Tour.
Located in historic Fernandina Beach, Florida, the markets are family friendly, and your well-behaved leashed pets are welcome, too.
