The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market and the Fernandina Beach Arts Market will be open Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine. Located in our downtown district, the farmers market displays over 40 tents on North Seventh Street, and the Arts Market displays an additional 25 tents behind Pineland Bank on the corner of Eight and Centre Streets. With something for everyone, come for the food, the music, the arts, or the fun!

There are two new vendors in the farmers market. One has baskets of succulents and the other is a blueberry booth. Also in the farmers market you will find Simply Savory Dips introducing four new flavors of dips including Carrot Cake, Garden Spinach, Veggie Patch, and Big Blue Buffalo. The buffalo flavor is not only great as a dip, but you can add it to macaroni and cheese, mix it with bread crumbs and use as an oven bake, or sprinkle it as a rub on chicken wings. Speaking of rubs, Dave’s Rub-A-Dub-Dub is proud to tell you about their Dittle Datil rub that is the only rub produced east of the Mississippi to place in the American Royal, World Series of Barbecue competition, in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Arts Market offers a wide variety of hand crafted talents like paintings, glassware, apparel, wood working, and more. The Amelia Island Tree Conservatory will be our Booth With a Cause, the City of Fernandina Beach will have information on flooding, and Jim Barcaro will be our musician.
