The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market will be open March 12, 2016, with nearly 40 vendors. The adjacent Fernandina Beach Arts Market, will be open, too!
Returning to the farmers market this week is authentic Vietnamese egg rolls handmade by Rose of An Unbelievable Egg Rolls, and local’s favorite sweet shop Nana Teresa’s. Also returning for an unscheduled visit is Steephill Designs; these snowbirds bring syrup directly from their Vermont farm. Dee of Something Good returns this week with her gluten-free breads and desserts, and Tucker returns with his amazing Topsy Toffee. Among these vendors you will still find your weekly favorites such as Rudy with Maria’s Bakery, Olive My Pickle, King’s Kountry Produce, Cabbage Creek Farm, Jaxma Orchids, Winnie’s Soap Factory, Lulu’s at the Thompson House, and many, many more.
The Arts Market will host about two dozen arts and craft booths, all handmade or handcrafted. There are no re-selling of items permitted and this is not a “flea market”. This is quality craftsmanship at its finest!
Both markets are open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine. Located on North Seventh Street in historic, downtown Fernandina Beach, your leashed, well-haved pets are welcome.
This week’s Booth with a Cause is Florida State Community College of Jacksonville.
The farmers market is open every Saturday of the month, year ’round, and the Arts Market is open on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. There will be NO markets on April 30, 2016, due to the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival.
