Gourmet popcorn is coming to the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market on Saturday, August 5, 2017. The local farmers market continues to expand and are welcoming another new vendor, Victory Popcorn. This new vendor intends to amaze you with their unique and creative popcorn flavors. Beginning with non-GMO kernels, they pop in 100% coconut oil and all flavors are gluten-free except for their white chocolate bliss. They even have vegan options. They guarantee you will LOVE their popcorn, if not, they will happily refund you.
The Market Place also has a new soy candle vendor. Fernandina resident, Ally Mackie, creates hand-crafted and homemade soy candles are blended with essential oils to create variety of aromas. Candle holders are recycled, reused, and re-purposed from cute and innovative containers found at local non-profit re-sale shops and such as The Purple Dove, Second Chance, and Barnabas Center’s New to You store.
Sugar Flour Pastries has added macaroons to their farmers market booth, and they are still introducing new ice cream sandwich flavors. Coming August 5th is their new key lime pie ice cream sandwich.
With over 40 booths full of wonderful products like landscaping plants, honey, catered specialties, soaps, beef, dog treats, jams, jellies, snacks and more, you are sure to find a new favorite… or two.
The Market Place is open every Saturday, on North Seventh Street, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine.
