Feeling International at the Farmers Market

Share

July 29, 2017, is shaping up to be a busy day with an international vibe at the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market. Located on North Seventh Street, between Alachua and Centre Streets, this friendly market will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine.

The Market Place is excited to introduce our newest vendor, Billy Belly. This is a new business on Amelia Island and they are a local catering company that provides hearty children’s lunches so you don’t have to worry about lunchtime meal planning. They will not be selling lunches at the farmers market. What they sell is a service to pick up you children’s lunch from a locally licensed kitchen. They use produce from the market in the meals and will be debuting at the Market Place this Saturday so you can learn more.

After a wonderful return two weeks ago, Rose, with An Unbelievable Egg Rolls will be back again this week. This Saturday ONLY, she will be offering two new Vietnamese flavors to the farmers market. Be sure to ask her about either beef or the beef/pork combination egg rolls. Gluten-free vendor, Something Good, is also returning this week with an ample supply of biscuits, flavored sweet breads, brownies and other special treats. Golden Olive Press is back with their hand selected olive oils from Spain, Bunna Cafe returns with their Ethiopian coffees, and Jen is serving up amazing Tanzanian dishes from her booth, African Love Kitchen.

We hope you can join us this, or any Saturday of the year, in historic, downtown Fernandina Beach. For more information, please find us on facebook, too.
