Father’s Day Weekend at the Farmers’ Market

Father's Day Weekend at the Farmers' MarketEnjoy your Father’s Day weekend with a stroll through Florida’s friendliest farmers’ market, the Fernandina Beach Market Place. Nestled in historic, downtown Fernandina Beach, under oak trees draped in Spanish moss, N. 7th Street is transformed into an open air gathering place that celebrates a family friendly shopping atmosphere.

Each booth you encounter offers something truly special. Truckloads of local produce compliment those selling the freshest breads. Perhaps Dad would enjoy a frozen strawberry banana smoothie to kick off his weekend, followed by a tempting sweet treat by the Great Harvest Bread Company?

You find delicious gifts dads love like flavorful beef jerkies, fresh organic blueberries, unusual succulants, hot and spicy jams, and organic soaps and sugar scrubs in naturally masculine scents.

Within walking distance of the market you will find plenty of quaint shops and local restaurants to peruse, and downtown Fernandina Beach still offers free parking.

Of course, coming to the Market Place without Dad is cool, too. Many weekly shoppers come to the market hoping to run into old friends or even make some new ones.

The farmers market is located across Centre Street from Jack and Diane’s and we are open each and every Saturday, rain or shine, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM, on Amelia Island.
