We strongly suggest you park in the public lots to avoid any “gifts” from Fernandina Police being left on your windshield.
Great Harvest Bread Company’s philosophy is giving back to their community. In that spirit, beginning October 27, 2018, they will be offering the following specials until November 15th.
Our “Booth With a Cause” will be the Amelia Island Tree Conservancy, and St. Michael’s Catholic Church will be promoting their upcoming Fall Festival.
September 8th is our sixth anniversary as the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market and to celebrate we will be introducing our new “Leave One Take One” program.
Orignial vendors were invited back and new vendors were contacted, some saying they had been on a waiting list for years, to join the family of exhibitors creating the new Market Place.
Homemade ice cream sandwiches are coming to the farmers market this week. Try chocolate shortbread with chocolate ice cream, or the lemon shortbread cookie with berry swirl in vanilla ice cream sandwiched in the middle.
We have a new herb vendor, AND a special treat this week will be the filming of the farmers’ market for HGTV’s Island Life series.
Come wish local celebrity, Felix, a happy birthday. Felix, also known as the Peanut Man, comes to the farmers market every Saturday to play his harmonica and sell his pineapples and boiled peanuts.
