The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market welcomes back a handful of “special appearance” vendors on August 10th including Lizzie’s Cheese Straws, Blue Planet and An Un-Believable Egg Roll.

Lizzie’s Cheese Straws are a cheese cracker treat, shaped like straws that hardly ever make it back to the house, they are usually devoured on the car ride home! Blue Planet has been on N. 7th Street before and long time farmers’ market fans will recognize Sonia and her organic nuts, dried fruits and granolas.

Rose, from An Un-Believable Egg Rolls, has been offering handmade, authentic Vietnamese egg rolls since 2000. As a child, Rose helped her grandmother make and sell egg rolls to neighbors and friends for extra money. Her grandmother’s recipe was something made up as she went along, adding spices and seasonings when needed. Rose watched closely and learned her trade, knowing every ingredient that went into her famous egg rolls. As you taste them, you will surely agree that these are indeed the most unbelievable egg rolls you have ever tasted!

Join these and nearly 30 other weekly vendors in historic, Fernandina Beach this and every Saturday morning from 9:00 to 1:00 PM, on N. 7th Street, Amelia Island. This week’s musical entertainment will be provided by Bruce Beville and the Laid Back band.
