The farmers market is OPEN in downtown Fernandina Beach, on April 11, 2015. Join over 40 food vendors at the Fernandina Beach Market Place, and another 20 vendors at the Fernandina Beach Arts Market, from 9:00 to 1:00 this Saturday!
Returning this week are Rose’s An Unbelievable Egg Rolls. These are authentic Vietnamese egg rolls. Olive My Pickle returns with barrels and barrels of pickles, olives, and pickled vegetables. Weekly vendor JD Beef will be on hand with all natural, farm fresh Angus beef that has no steroids, no hormones and no antibiotics.
There will be fresh seasonal produce from Boatright Farms, Kings Kountry Farms, Cabbage Creek Farms, and Bacon’s Select Produce. Maria’s, Ribault and Great Harvest Bakery are all bringing fresh baked breads and pastries, and Seven Trees Nursery has plenty of plants and succulents on hand to refresh your yard for spring.
The Arts Market has artists, woodworkers and crafters who create original, one-of-a-kind art to sell at the market. Come and meet the artists and see what they have new. You’ll find pottery, fabrics, wall hangings, pet accessories and much more.
The Arts Market is located adjacent to the farmers market which is located on North Seventh Street, between Alachua and Centre in historic Fernandina.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and visiting this Saturday will be the Nassau County advocate of the Women’s Center of Jacksonville. They improve the lives of women through advocacy, support and education.
We are featuring A Hand to Hold Doula Services as our “Business of the Week”. A doula refers to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and just after birth.
