Who is in the Market Place February 21, 2015


farmers-market-feb-21-2015We will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015.

With nearly 40 vendors attending the Market Place each and every Saturday, we have a few vendors who join us once or twice a month like Steephill Vermont Syrup, White Hawk Farm, and River City Gourmet.

The owners of Steephill Vermont Syrup are Snowbirds Bob and Lynn, and they bring authentic, Grade A Fancy, Medium Amber and Dark Amber syrup from their Vermont farm. They also have Grade B Dark syrup and fresh Maple creme, along with their genuine, hard or soft, maple candies.

White Hawk Farm comes to us all the way from Yulee, Florida, and they bring fresh, raw goat milk and a variety of eggs. If the forecast continues to promise a gorgeous February day on Saturday, Andy will also bring his pet goat, Aruba. Aruba is a farmers market favorite for kids and adults alike.

River City Gourmet, formerly known as Dips 2 Go, sells homemade spice mixes and rubs. Having expanded their line of products they now carry gourmet olive oils and balsamic vinegar. Owners Sherry and Mitch strive to bring you different, exciting and unusual flavors to enhance your cooking experience.

We will also have our regular vendors bringing seasonal produce, fresh baked breads and pastries, honey, dog treats, pasta, goat cheese, pies, candies, beef jerky, jelly, and much, much more. Music will be provided by the Hambone Stumps Band.
