Meet the Butcher, the Baker and the Candlestick Maker!
The Butcher
This week we will call Steve, with JD Beef, “The Butcher.” He brings all natural, free range, Angus beef, and pork, raised without steroids, antibiotics, or hormones.
The Baker
Our Bakers include Karen’s Homemade Pies, ARS Cake Creations, Brian from Short and Sweet, Rudy form Maria’s Bakery, Alex and his Russian baked goods, and our own locals Great Harvest Bread Company and Kelley’s Courtyard Cafe.
The Candlestick Maker
The Candlestick maker is of course, farmers market favorite, Dot Williams with her Amelia Island Soy Candles.
Before jumping into all of the automobile activities and the hustle and bustle The Concours d’Elegance and the Festivals of Speed bring to the South end Amelia Island, visit Historic Fernandina Beach first. We offer a friendly farmers market on N. 7th Street, on Saturday mornings, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM, featuring just about 40 vendors.
The Butcher, The Baker and The Candlestick Maker are in addition to your fresh vegetable and fruit vendors including Bacons Select, Cabbage Creek Farms, Boatright Farms, KYV Farms, Reed’s Citrus. We invite you to welcome back produce vendor, Tommy King and Jane Honn with Kings Kountry Produce, who fit perfectly into the Fernandina Beach Market Place!
Lizzie’s Cheese Straws and Olive my Pickle also return on March 9, 2013. Entertainment will be provided by our talented, local Saxophonist Gabriel Arnold. We are family friendly and your well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome, too.
