May 11, 2013, the Fernandina Beach Market Place celebrates Mom! Take your mom out for a nice stroll through the farmers’ market in historic, downtown Fernandina Beach where you can treat her to some fresh delights.
This week’s featured vendor is Dot Williams and her Amelia Island Soy Candles. These handcrafted candles are a great gift idea. Other great gifts for Mom include Tressa’s homemade soaps and sugar scrubs, easy to grow succulents from Seven Trees Nursery, fresh cut blooms from Cabbage Creek Farms and Lizzie’s Famous Cheese Straws, just to name a few.
Enjoy fresh farmstead cheeses, breads without preservatives, desserts sweetened with honey and an amazing selection of jams, jellies, and chutneys.
What would a market be without fresh produce? We have five produce vendors in addition to Reed’s Groves and their tasty citrus and other fruits.
We are open each and every Saturday, rain or shine, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM on N. 7th Street on Amelia Island. Well behaved pets are welcome, too.
