Many of you will be thrilled to hear, I Love Pierogis is back at the farmers market. This European, often Polish, dumpling is traditionally filled with meat, cheese, sauerkraut, or potatoes. A Patient Journey Farm will have a few eggs, pastrami, and duck confit. The also bring duck fat which is a great option when cooking with fat. Vendors choice? Duck fat enhances the earthy taste of potatoes resulting in a richer dish of hash browns, or fried, roasted, and even mashed potatoes. 21 Queen Street Coffee will be at the farmers market this week, and Me, Myself and Pies is back, too.

Popular local chef, Chef Bill Thompson cooked with Ritz-Carlton resorts for over ten years and is a graduate of Johnson and Wales, a prestigious university that has produced some of the most notable chefs cooking in the world today. Promoting farm to table movements Chef Bill is bringing delicious baguettes, pear and brie, and roasted tomato and pesto tarts, as well as his pineapple jam and pepper jelly.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Violette Lani and Iris Andie. These young musicians cover modern acoustic pop songs that are surely on your playlist, if you haven’t see them perform at festivals, restaurants, or other events and fund-raisers, catch them now; you don’t want to miss getting to know these rising stars in the music scene. The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market is open every Saturday. The Arts Market is open Saturday, too.
