March 7, 2015 brings some exciting new flavors to the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market located on North Seventh Street in historic, downtown Fernandina.

Blue Moon goat cheese vendor has added a new Buffalo Bleu flavor. Add that to the peach habanero for a delightful dipping cheese or let the popular garlic basil flavor stand on its own.

Jay’s Marketplace returns this week with their Italian Olive Salad and brand new recipe ideas. Try this delicious chopped olive topping on a baked potato, mix it with cream cheese for a dip, or add a heaping tablespoon (or two) to your favorite potato salad recipe.

Kings Kountry Produce is now harvesting green onions and their fresh-from-the-farm strawberries have been fabulous all winter!

Me, Myself and Pies is one of our newest vendors and they have sold out almost every single Saturday, and this weekend they are adding savory meat pies and quiche to their line-up of comfort foods.

They use organic and/or locally produced fruits, vegetables, milk, butter, meats, flour and more so you can feel good about eating their pies for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Warm up with a beef or chicken pot pie, in either a 6 or 9 inch size. This creamy and savory pie is loaded with meats and veggies in their homemade flaky crust. Have you tried quiche lately? Check out the mouth-watering flavors and enjoy a wonderful combination of eggs, milk, and cream with savory flavors baked in that popular pie crust.

Watch out for Pirates! Members of the Fernandina Pirates Club will be hosting the Blood Bus and roaming the crowds looking for victims, I mean donors!
