Santa Claus is coming to the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market on December 13, 2014. Located on North Seventh Street in historic Fernandina Beach, you can bring your family, including your pets, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and have a picture taken with Santa Claus and all donations benefit Micah’s Place, Nassau County’s only certified domestic violence center.
Enjoy shopping in the fresh December air under the cypress and majestic oaks of Amelia Island, while you taste your way among the vendors. Find specialty items like homemade soaps, candies, sea salts, beef jerky and more that are ideal for gift baskets and stocking stuffers.
Thrill your holiday guests with party favorites like pimento cheese spread, olive salads, goat cheese and you can create an incredibly fresh vegetable tray from the seasonal offerings of four different produce vendors.
Sip from piping hot coffee, or a hot chocolate with whipped topping and peppermint sprinkles from our beverage vendor, or enjoy a tasty pastry from Great Harvest or Maria’s Bakery.
With nearly 40 vendors, and an Arts Market located right next door, this is a great place to enjoy the outdoors while getting a lot of your holiday shopping done, too.
There will be live, musical favorites sung by Melissa Rose certain to get you into the holiday spirit. Open every Saturday, the Fernandina Beach Market Place is open rain or shine!
