Farmers and Arts Markets are HOT in Fernandina Beach

Share

The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market and the Fernandina Beach Arts Market are the HOT places to be on July 11th, from 9:00 to 1:00 pm. Open rain or shine, these two markets are located between Centre and Alachua Streets, on North Seventh Street in historic, downtown.

The farmers market is introducing two new vendors this week – one is Hope Floats, a goat soap vendor from Cordele, Georgia. They produce all natural, handmade soaps with the milk from their dairy goats. The second new vendor this week is Ever Blooming Gardens. After a three year absense from the downtown market, Robert is returning with four booth spaces full of local landscaping plants.

Artists and crafts(wo)men have been hard at work creating new pieces just for the Arts Market. This weeks vendors, including woodworkers, jewelry makers, painters, glass producers, pottery and bowl crafters, sign makers, authors and inventors will all be on hand to show off their new works!

Music this week is provided by Jeremy King. This will be the first time this fabulous musician, often found playing at several venues in and around Fernandina Beach, will be playing in the farmers market.

The farmers market is open every Saturday of the year, and the Arts Market is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.
