Start Popping and Have Fun!

Stove-top Popping – Using a medium to large size pot with a lid or a stove-top popper

-add 2-3 Tablespoons of oil (coconut oil, vegetable oil – any oil with a high-burn point)
-add 1/2 Cup of popcorn kernels
-place lid on pot and heat over medium heat, once it heats up
-gently shake pot (or twirl if stove-top popper) as popcorn pops. If you have a glass cook-top, lift the pot up before shaking to prevent damage to your cook-top.
-remove from heat once pot if full or when popping slows (don’t wait until popping stops or it could burn).

Microwave Bowl Popping – Use a microwave popcorn popper
-add 2-3 Tablespoons of oil (coconut oil, vegetable oil – any oil with a high-burn point)
-add 1/3 Cup of popcorn kernels
-place lid on popper and set microwave for four (4) minutes
-stop microwave when you hear popping slow
-if you have trouble with popcorn burning, try using a lower temperature setting on your microwave. With a lower temperature setting, you may need to increase the time setting, but still stop the microwave when you hear popping slow.

After Popping
-immediately pour popcorn into a bowl
-toss with melted butter (optional), butter should be just melted and not too hot
-toss with popcorn salt or
-toss with pocorn seasoning, popcorn seasoning contains salt so skip adding popcorn salt first. When using popcorn seasoning, you must toss with melted butter first so it will stick.
-Salt and popcorn seasonings that are made by Amish Popcorn contain no preservatives, so you might need to pour in your hand and break up before adding to popcorn (especially if humid).

Thank you for your purchase. Hope you enjoy!
